Mintons plate with highly collectible transferware hatching eggs image by Gustav Leonce. An Aesthetic Movement design from between 1876-8.  This plate is "flow" cobalt blue and has a less crisp print than the black and white versions of this design, as cobalt notoriously ran a little in the firing. Wonderful and rather bizarre - the imagery with beetles seems to be particularly sought-after.

We have a few more of these listed in different designs.

This plate is approximately 22 cm (8.66 inches) in diameter.
