This is a strikingly unusual dupion pure silk that was hand-printed in India. We bought three colours - all they had - from a design company that closed down in Ireland. They brought this silk back themselves from a trip to India.

It is printed by hand in gold ink (the gold is semi-shiny - a nice texture and amount of sheen) and the printing is not even, as industrial print would be - this is the charm, and so please be aware that the uneven print is the character of the bag, it is not a fault.

As we can't get more of this silk (we wish we could!), this bag can only be made in limited numbers and is unrepeatable.

The lining is a remarkable woven pure silk in a soft coffee/plum shade. It has a woven pattern in taupe in some parts so every bag will be different - the lining adds to the handmade, artisan feeling of this bag.

Please note that every bag is slightly different, as it's cut from a different part of the fabric. Yours may not be absolutely identical to the photo but will be equally beautiful - and unique!
