MMintons plate with highly collectible transfer ware duckling image by Gustav Leonce. An Aesthetic Movement design from between 1876-8. This plate is "flow" cobalt blue and has a less crisp print than the black and white versions of this design, as cobalt notoriously ran a little in the firing. Wonderful and rather bizarre - these are now very sought after.
We have a few more of these listed in different designs.
