Antique intricate gold & split pearl lavaliere necklace . It shows a swallow holding a heart - a symbol of true and everlasting love. It dates to the late 1800s.
Although the hallmark seems to have been rubbed to illegibility (we think it was on the back of the swallow's head, we believe this to be 15K gold. The pearls are all natural and in beautiful condition.
The necklace has an extension chain, also in gold, so the length is adjustable - making it very wearable.
